WHICH RULES APPLY TO LIFE-SAVING EQUIPMENT?

The Accident Prevention Act, LSO (SFS 2003:778), states that owners or users of buildings or other facilities to a reasonable extent should have equipment for saving lives. The reasonable extent is described in SRVFS 2007:5, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency’s general advice and comments on water rescue equipment at ports, quays, bathing areas, and similar water near facilities.
